We are totally spoilt by our location, being only a few miles from Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park and the world-famous banks of Loch Lomond.

 From climbing a Munro, seeing one from a Sea plane, mountain biking, walking, water skiing, and boat trips, there is so much to do within only a 20 minute drive.

At Ballochneck itself there is also a lot to do and see. We have a woodland walk where you commonly can spot some red squirrels and follow the paths left by our resident badgers and fellow deer.

We also offer clay pigeon shooting and fishing.

Types of Baits

Fishing on Ballochneck Pond

£30 for two hours inc boat use.

Clay Pigeon Shooting on the Estate

£40 pp for one hour

On the Grounds:

Here at Ballochneck we offer Fishing and Clay Shooting.

 If you booked a session with Donnie when making your booking then Donnie will come and talk to you about your booking and confirm the timings and requirements with you shortly after your arrival.

If you did not pre book a session but wish to do either clay shooting or fishing please get in touch via the WhatsApp and we will do our best to accommodate. Please note that unfortunately due to availability and stock we may not always be able to accommodate.

Beyond the fishing and clay shooting please feel welcome to explore the woods and area surrounding the pond.

In the woods themselves you will hopefully be lucky enough to spot some red squirrels, you can locate the badger dens and listen out for our resident woodpecker.

On the pond we always have a lot of wildlife so do spend some time seeing what you can spot and in the pond itself we have rainbow trout that we often see jumping.
